I took a day off recently to take a bike ride along the beach in Carlsbad, CA between 2 coffee shops. I love coffee, getting out, getting my blood pumping, feeling the wind on my face... and stopping constantly to take interesting photos. My route went from Steady State Roasting in Carlsbad to Lofty Coffee in Encinitas through perfect weather (to me) with just my bike and camera.
I brought my Fujifilm X-Pro3 along the kit that's becoming my usual - the XF 18 f/1.4, XF 33 f/1.4, and Voigtlander 90 f/2.8. (Though I've now replaced this last one with the Samyang 75, I'll explain that another day). I've spent a few decades with with most of the normal focal lengths now, and this is such a perfect kit for me on a day like this.
After a latte and a rest, I headed back the same way I came
